  • coilovers - hr

    Hi all

i have recently installed hr coilovers and cant seem to setup the height.

which way is it to lower and raise the car? for front and rear setup?

the car's rakes to the front to much, looks like a drag car lol, the fronts to low,

front : - i have the perch/adjuster? wound down, so the spring is longer. assume this is lowest setting 40mm?
rear : - i have the perch/adjuster? wound down, so the spring is compressed and lowered?

    is this correct?

    running standard bbs 15".

sorry sounds so confusing, hope someone could help, will have another go in the morning 7 hours before i go work:battle:

    thanks.

    happy new year.

Turning the adjusters clockwise lowers the springs. This is like mostly any bolt.

That goes for just about every coilover I've installed too, not just H&R

Also, it sounds like you have a newer H&R kit with the rear adjustable perches. Since you do, the perches on the lowest setting will still sit higher then the front on it's lowest setting. I'd suggest setting the rear first where you want them and adjust the fronts to match. If the rears do not sit low enough for you, remove the adjustable perch.
