  • 1100 Miles in an E30 M3 purchased over the Internet

A week ago, my friend and I flew up to Iowa to pick up an '88 Brilliant Red/Black E30 M3 I bought from Doug at EuroWerkz LC. The car is fantastic. We drove from Iowa to Texas in about two days and took mostly county roads and state highways. It was great to see the small towns in that part of the country. A $4.00 Atlas from Wal-Mart was all it took. We hit Arther Bryant's BBQ in Kansas City, the twisties in the Ozarks in Arkansas and Oklahoma, and saw a lot of trees, churches, homes, and small towns. Driving these roads was far more relaxing and enjoyable than driving the highway and served as a reminder that there's some great roads in the USA for driving these cars.

BTW, Doug treated me like family throughout the purchase of the car and everything about it was as advertised and per our discussions. Best experience I ever had purchasing a car. I am living near full time in India for an expat assignment and found the car on the web and worked with Doug by e-mail to purchase it. I had enough trust in what he told me about the condition of the car to pick it up from him at the airport and drive it straight down. Thank you Doug!
