SAMCO Coolant (Update) Hoses

Samco called today & said they will be sending me the "test kit" for the updated 5 hoses that are going to be added to the new E30 M3 coolant hose kit.


These 5 hoses are missing from the "current" E30 M3 kit. This will now be a *complete* Samco coolant hose kit, where no OEM rubber hoses are needed (old kit had 1 wrong hose + needed addtional OEM rubber hoses). The 846 hose from the (current) kit is going to be deleted from the "new" kit as well-


After almost 10 months of working on these with them, it was a good call get on a Friday afternoon :wee:


I should have the test kit w/in the next 5-10 days. Will get them test fitted & I will update this as we get these into production for the new kits, etc-

Just in case you weren't aware, US brake lines don't meeet Aust design regulations.

No pricing yet as these are still in R&D-

Yes, this was one thing I stressed to them. The additional hoses will be available/ sold "ala carte".

I've been told that there is no performance benefit of the Samco hose kit over the factor OEM hoses .......... outside of cosmetics and making things pretty. Can anyone confirm this ???

We are still waiting for the test kit to arrive to do a test fit, the hoses then, will go into production. Please hang in there & stay tuned to this thread as it will be updated.

Tom, SAMCO hoses are silicone reinforced and can tolerate much hotter temps than regular "rubber" hoses (no bursting). Essentially, you will not need to replace your coolant hoses again. As far as "making things pretty" they are available in 7 different colors.
