Help Flicking Rev Counter Why ?

Hi there guy i was wondering if you may help me.
my rev counter flickers around when im driving and i cant seem to work out why.any sugestions in what i can do.
And iv started to get a knocking noise from the back of my car when i go over bumps etc.what do you you may be gone and i need to replace.
any help will be much apreciated many thanks justin

Ground(s) near the DME, in the glovebox. Usually associated with many other cluster problems.

Check:
Earthing behind glovebox.
Failing SI board power cells.
Ignition tune up imminent.

Rear knocks would be knackered rear damper mounts or subframe bushings.
