I sold the car to fellow BMW CCA member at the end of last summer. The car was also on the cover of Roundel last month in its last paint job (Black / Red / Yellow) in the lower left corner. Just after O'Fest, he repainted to the white / MS stripes. Great little car.

    Thanks,
    Mike K.

Funny, cause I thumbed through that issue last night and saw that ad. It was in the plastic wrap for a while.

Did anyone notice there were NO e30 M3's listed in the classified section this month.

The new owner wanted to return the car to one of the orginal paint jobs as raced in Firehawk. The car as pictured on the cover of Roundel last month never raced in Firehawk with the black, yellow, & red, that was done well after the Firehawk days.

                    Thanks,
                    Mike K.

                      Pictures from the event!

Well the Korman open house was yesterday and it was a great day! There was a pretty decent turnout, probably 40 or 50 people. They had a special parking corral for E30 M3s and there were 5 that showed up for the event. The weather was nice enough to spend some time milling about in the parking lot as well as looking around at the displays in the garage.

Ray Korman gave a nice talk about the history of their involvement with the US E30 M3 racing program. They received the first car just 10 days before the first race! There were some interesting tidbits and I wish I would have had a tape recorder to capture it all.

Without further ado, here are the photos I took of the special cars.

I hope you enjoy the photos!
