Good luck! Will you have the head ported? It's definitely a good idea.

sounds neat....! What valve springs did you use with the Schricks and what pistons?

the head was ported and polished
the valves are the sodium filled M5 valves
the pistons are the 11:1 pistons in the VAC 2.5 premium stroker kit ..
also head studs etc and B&M short shifter
the rods was polished and shotpiened(if that is how you spell it)

ohh and the valve springs came with the head I believe they are the sport evo springs

OK let me go with some interesting facts.. My engine builder has a full race E36 he has engine dyno'd it at 430 hp and on Motec's dyno it has 330 ( rounded) on motec's dyno they have only rev'd my new engine to 6000 rpm (goal is 8300 rpm) and it has 230 rwhp so far... the hope is to get around the 245 rwhp which should equate to around the 300 mark with a bit of luck I keep my fingers crossed.......

looking forward to seeing the dyno results from this... I have the same pistons, sport evo head, 48s, big injectors , CF box with 284/276 and a 292 on the shelf waiting to go in.. no motec though... I am using MAXX A/N for now..

I am having a chat with an Aussie magazine called "Fast fours and Rotaries" they do just about only turbo cars to see if they want to run an N/A build 4 cyl in their mag at the moment. LOL imagine my poor old E30 next to supra's and all this turbo 800 hp stuff

I HAVE MY BABY BACK !!
but only for 2 weeks and let me tell you the frustration of not being able to rev it over 5000rpm .. It is only just coming onto cams when i have to change gears...

I must say the CF Airbox souns AWESOME !
it's going to be a long 1000klms before I lose the car again for it's final dyno

Looks good. Although you need to cut of about 1.5cm from the top radiator hose when running a PWR radiator. It will get rid of the kink that is a recipe for disaster.
