Rotors and breaks ?

Hi,
Im considering running bavauto slotted rotors in the front because my old rotors were warped when Ibought it. What I am wondering is, is that a good quality rotor?
Ive heard some stuff about pads but Im still in the dark about what a good Street/Autocross pad would be? Im not worried about noise to much and would like to keep some of the dust if at all possible.

I think the best street/autox brake pads are Hawk HP Plus.
They have really good bite even when they are cold.
But, you have to put up with a lot of brake squeal, and brake dust.

I agree with Han about teh HP Plus. They do squeak and dust but not too excessively. They sure stop great though.

I have the HPS pads, guess where I got them?? Bimmerworld. But the HPS pads are still pretty good and they don't sqeal but they do dust, but not nearly as bad the the HP Plus. My friend with the HP Plus can't drive anywhere without dusting his wheels.

I still have Porterfield R4 (I know, track pads) on my car right now because I had chunks missing from my Pagids when I swapped them at the track. Anyways, those things are so dusty it is rediculous. After about 30 minutes of traffic, the rims are visibly dusty.

They are badass pads, they really bite well, and I'll keep using them at the track, but for the street waaay too much dust.

Oh yeah, about the rotors, I'd just go with the stock ones. They're cheap and they work pretty well. Slotted are mostly for looks, they eat up your pads and you're probably not going to heat them up that much. If you are, get brake ducts.

Zimmermanns!!!

I'm running cross-drilled Zimmermanns from EuroAsian.com. $60 front pair, and 40 rears I think. For 100 bux, can't beat that. Plus, cross-drilled in my opinion are far superior for slotted.
