Try 425# fr and 650# rr. Lot of compliance for the track, and bareable for the street.

too stiff =
1/ you can sit on the car (i am 100 kg's) and it does not move
2/ if i hit a bump i am most likely to be airborne

"Too stiff" is one of those tough ones...Kind of like too loud...one way I like to narrow down the cause (shocks vs. springs) is to try and categorize it as stiff or harsh. A lot of people on the list (including myself) use the GC/Koni setup with the 450/650 springs. These springs are about 4 times stiffer than stock! Yet, I would categorize the ride as stiff but not harsh. This is due to the low compression damping GC uses on the Konis. High compression damping will give that real harsh ride, even when the springs are relatively soft. A lot of Japanese tuners build their suspension setups like this.
Another possibility is that the car is lowered too much and the shocks are bottoming out.

softer springs
could be your shocks being too stiff, but I doubt it. Are they adjustable in any way?

Hi I am running Eibach coilovers and Eibach springs
The car is just way too stiff.
Is there a set of springs to soften this up ?
I want the great handling that the eibach's give but my mate who is actually a pro driver reckons that the car is way to stiff
what can you guys suggest ???Tags: None
