  • Anybody's U.S. E30 M3 a european delivery?

I remember the PO telling me the M3 was a european delivery. I totally forgot about it and I was just looking through my books and I notice the 1200 mile service was done in Germany. All E30 M3's weren't like this were they? Maybe my car spent some time on the Nurburgring Just curious if this was pretty common. I didn't even know they really had a european delivery program.

I know, maybe the PO lived in Germany for a little while. On the same page of the service book w/ the 1200 mile service stamp from a German shop, their is a stamp for the pre-inspection from Bayerische Motoren Werke in Germany and a stamp from BMW N.A. stating that the warranty is commencing staring Nov. 7 1990. Atleast the car spent some good time in the motherland.

BTW, Anybody heard of Autohaus Schreyer GMBH?

just so you dont worry....1200 mi. was the normal
first inspection. that is also when the euro M3 had
their first inspection and major service. everything
        is correct here.

as far as the Ring goes, I think I do remember your M3
zipping around the track, now that I think about it

Mine was originally purchased by a US serviceman in Spain. It has the first few dealer maintenance stamps from BMW Madrid and the rest from the US, so he must have had it shipped back to the US after a year or so. The original owner didn't drive it much as it only had 25K miles on it in 1995 when it was sold to the next owner. Apparently he only drove it on leave.

It is a US model though, per the VIN. It also is a catalytic car.
