  • Best Shop for OEM Parts

    Hello all,

Glad to report I'm a new member who just purchased 1988 Euro spec in Hong Kong.

I'm planning to do a full restoration job and needless to say I need to purchase a lot of OEM parts. Can you guys please point me to the best online shop that sell OEM E30 M3 parts? Or even your local BMW dealer or specialist who is willing to ship overseas.

    Thanks in advance!
    Kev

    McAdams Autosport

A member here and very well known trusted vendor. Seen and heard good reports of items such as cranks being shipped as far as Australia with excellent protective packaging.

PS. That car doesn't look like it needs a full restoration.
This space is a sanctimonious shit free zone.

What's so red in the engine?

          Hi all,

Thanks for the tips! Although the car looks ok there is some rust in the body and chassis. Engine's compression is 20% off so a rebuild is waiting to happen. Will revert everything back to stock spec and looks.

          Cheers

            Kevin,

Car looks very familiar! If you search Wan888, you'll find a bunch of his old posts and some great pics - if you haven't seen them already...

Here's a nice shot from the previous owner:

Back to your original post though... You definitely cannot go wrong with either vendor mentioned above. You could also try: turnermotorsports as well

In any case, car still looks terrific! Just sort out the rust and motor issues... Welcome to S14.net - it'll be a great resource.

I forgot to post this in the past. My relatives own a company called Northside Imports and they are all over the country. I believe they have the lowest prices in oem parts.

Wow! Your car looks almost exactly like mine except with evo bits. Here's a pic of mine:

I am based in Manila but frequent Hong Kong quite regularly. Would be nice to meet up one of these days. I get most of my oem parts from bmaparts.com
