mine does, but the sticker simply says 09/90, no day, which I think is the case for everyone.

As mentioned by Yan - if you want the actual birthday, plus birth time down to the minute, remove your back seat and you'll find the build sheet on the back of the seat foam. I can't rememeber whether it was on the seat bottom or the back.

The Consecutive VIN thread in the Best Topics area is a good read. I found an old post where the guy's car was built the same day as mine and only 4 digits off in the VIN.

I have noticed this before, but it's with my E39 M5. My door jamb sticker shows a 2/00 production date, but realoem.com lists it as 3/00. I later on noticed while replacing the window regulators that all the original door panels have a 3/00 manufacturing date. My best guess is that my VIN was assigned to the chassis/shell at the end of 2/00, but actual assembly didn't start until a bit later in 3/00.

Another point that backs this up-from the start of E39 M5 production until 2/00, the original S62 engines were known to have relatively high oil consumption. But starting with 3/00 production, the piston rings were redesigned to limit the consumption-and sure enough, my car hardly uses any oil at all which would further back up the later production date.
