    I'm trying to find the part number for number 4 in the diagram below

      I'm cleaning up the engine bay and it is a grommet that shields a hole in the wheel well. I'm pretty certain that the ABS wheel speed sensors go through it from the engine bay to the wheels. There is a matching hole on each side. My grommets have meet the end of their useful life.

      Also, why on the topic of part numbers, I was researching trunk lids, since I need a new one and noticed that there is a EVO III trunk lid. I did not know that, any idea what the differences are?

        Are the grommets not attached to the sensor fly leads?

        The Evo III trunk lid is lighter than stock.

          Hi

          The EVO3(EVO2 have the same) boot lid is lighter then the normal one
          Looks like this





          that part on your pic is a bracket....
          I think the grommets you'll find here (you need to measure the size)

            Have a look here, I'm not sure it's the bit you want though as it seams rather expensive. I've found if there is a bit you need and it's not listed for the M3 then look under a regular e30 and you will sometimes find it.
