Andy, we will definitely let you know if we need to pull those strings. Right now,
NJMP has been really responsive to what we want to do. Essentially the only place
that has returned our calls promptly. As mentioned before, we will scout these
places personally to make sure it works for what we want to accomplish.

Any thought of getting Roundel interested in coming out and shooting pictures for this as well? Might want to give them a heads up.
Who knows where I'll be, changes from day to Continent.

^^^Already working connections. This is a once in a lifetime event, so the proper
arrangements are being made. Besides, the next real big anniversary is the 50th!

Indeed I noticed that re - NJMP. And they are NOT in the middle of nowhere.

Lots of space there too, and the venue sounds like a nice "home" as per some earlier comments in this thread.

If you get this set up, I suggest a call to Montvale and AG. Something along the lines of the Porsche Rennsport reunion could come to life....http://www.porsche.com/usa/rennsportreunion/

Being a Porsche guy too, those were events that were pure, sensory overload.... Cars from around the world ended up showing up. I mean cars you read about and watched video of ended showing up each time.

I could see BMW and global e30 M3 enthusiasts gettin in on it....Hey...ya never know.

The main thing is making this event official and recognized by BMW NA and perhaps
on a global level. This will spread the news much quicker and have broader reach. To
be honest, we have gotten a lot done since this post was started.

I will be planning my summer around this event. The preliminary planning sounds like you guys have this thing well thought out. I would also like to volunteer any assistance you guys might need. I don't have any contacts in the industry, but I am willing to lend a hand in any way to make sure this event is one to remember

Sheldon, it's not about who you know and what you can offer to make this happen.
Just you planning to make this is already huge. Without the people and cars, we would
                not have an event.

Sorry we didn't get to talk a bit more at the Glen Island show. I think once Nick found
that photography booth, we spent a better portion of the day there. Besides, Nick
was able to get his picture with Fonzie printed out on the spot.

Already discussed. We will need to come up with an nice design as well. So if any one is
a graphic designer and can whip something up let us know. We are open to suggestions.

Definitely. We need to sit down and talk about what we need to have on the site as well.
John also works with websites, so we should get you guys together and bounce some
                                ideas around.
