  • Ex Japan , Euro Spec E30 M3 vin ident label question

    Hi All ,

Anyone on here with a Japanese supplied euro spec E30 M3 ?

I'd like to know what your engine bay vin number metal label, riveted to the inside of the righthand wheelhouse, has written on it and looks like.

Mine is an Aluminium rectangle with Bmw Japan Corp and the BMW logo printed on it with just the last 7 digits of my chassiss number stamped on it.

Can I order one with the full chassiss number like on the euro supplied euro m3's from BMW directly, if so anyone know how i would go about it?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the p/n PBC, real oem doesn't show it as ended though so I'll give the stealers a call and see what they say.

      Although its probably NLA.

Did the Japan market cars have air conditioning?

Just been on-line on BMW's own system and that also does NOT list it as NLA so you may be lucky.

I guess you will have to prove that you own the vehicle etc etc

Reviving an old thread here, but curious what was found regarding obtaining the vin tag from BMW?
