    Hello Markus,

That is an interesting design ... the bolt is not decoupled though so this only addresses the vertical movements and not the lateral ones. If the bolt broke I am not sure if this would hold together. What is the aprox. cost of these?

My Gr.N mounts are not anywhere near their end of life cycle so unless this can wait a couple of years we need to have another volunteer to take them apart ...

      mmm
what does "not decoupled mean? sorry

and does anyone that has had a group n failure recall what the inside looked like from memory. i am under the impression that the two studs are not hooked together in the middle in any fashion.
      thanks

Unless you want to move your engine 3/8" to the back to help "rebalance" your car. That's engine and transmission...

yeah, but they might be able to make some S14 fitting ones with enough demand.

again revshift answered fast, saying there mount studs were independent but anchored inside so as to not delaminate. also concentric and stock height (80 mm)
                    any S14 guys running them?
                    thanks

Never even heard of them before the post above.
Something to look into for sure if thats how they are made.

                        Hello Ken,

The top and bottom bolts have to be separate (instead of a single going through) to allow minimum lateral movement.

The purpose of decoupling the upper and lower bolts is essentially to avoid vibrations from the engine to be transmitted to the shell thru the bolt.

so on the marcus mount how can you tell it is not decoupled, do you have more information on these than just the photo we saw?
                              thanks

Impossible to know from a picture. The Gr.N and stock parts are decoupled ... this is the first question to ask any aftermarket manufacturer.
