I bought mine from Don McAdams but that seams to not be a viable option of late. I would get it from Markus perhaps. At least you know it will be a reliable deal 100%.
Any US dealer will be able to supply them. Just need to have soemone ship them for you. Have you tried Pelican Parts or Patrick at BMA. He helps a lot of the .au guys out in regards to geinune BMW parts.
To me it's not worth it anymore given the price increase but they'll run anywhere from $1400-1700USD plus shipping to AU. If anyone knows of a better price, please post.
shipping such a crank from germany would cost 115 Euro *ouch*
And the crank itself would be 1400 Euro incl. core these days :(
I know times (5-6 years ago) when it was 800 Euro.....
to try pelican I need the part number, I can look it up but I want to be 100% sure its the 2.5 crank. turners quoted $225 shipping and approx $1500 for the crank which actually isn't that bad. 115 euro is cheap then markus !
was planning on calling BMA today, they have 2.3's for $1100 so who knows.
In the UK I bought from the dealer and used a standard M10 crank as a core. Only about half the weight of the S14 crank but no serious questions asked.

Not anymore in the US... as of a few years ago, you MUST provide an identical core.
Ron -man I'll take one, can you please get a price to ship to Australia.
3018, victoria. do you have a conrod also ?
value for customs can be written $900, therefore no duties for me.
