OK anyway.............Does anyone know how to hook up the third taillight light like the euro cars? I think it looks sick.

Do you just break off the little plastic piece and connect a bulb there? or is there something else I should know before I jump in

You mean a 3rd brake light on the back shelf ? My Euro car doesn't have that . Looks crap too IMHO .

A third brake light on the rear shelf is IMHO completely useless as the rear spoiler would block the view of it. It also looks horrible. When I bought mine I thought a PO had fitted a third high level brake light. I considered removing it until I saw quite a number of E30 M3's with exactly the same make of light fitted. I'm pretty sure it's aftermarket but have never been sure. Anyway I now think that if it stops just one person hitting me from behind then it has been worth it.

There are a lot of E30 M3's in europe without the third brake light in the rear window. In fact those that do have one are almost considered modded. If you have a look at the European brochures you will not see a brake light in the rear window.

its not the light in the window, its the extra spot in your taillight that doesnt currently have a bulb in it, at least not if you are in the U.S. (At least I am assuming what we are talking about here) Alot of newer cars have used this light as a rear fog light, and extra bright light in the taillight that comes on when the fogs are switched on.
