I've got some brembo callipers of a mitsu evo7 lying around, need some adaptor plates for fixing the callipers and some disc's (330 mm) with alu center.
Anyone got some ideas??
You'd have to contact a few BMW shops where you are and ask them if they've ever done conversion like this. They could point you in the direction of a fabricator who can help.
I have done several brake kits, so I guess I have a bit of experience to answer. Your calipers are "radial mounted" which makes them very easy to locate around the strut. You will need to verify what width of rotor they will accept. Then find the proper rotors from Wilwood or Coleman. Usually, 330mm rotors (14"inch) are available in 10 or 12 bolt pattern. Coleman has them for around $140 usd. Then you need to design your center hat. Cost for turning them shall be around $400usd for machining, plus your time (20hours) for designing and testing. I hope you have a lot of time on your hands. as you might make several test mock-ups from wood.
