    So, we all know were the S14 came from, what was the last car it was put in?
    There were also a few other S14 type engiens out there, what were they and what were they put in?

    Well it was in the Italian and Portugese 320 is.
    I pretty sure they used a version of the S14 in an E36 320i BTCC car too.

      S14 is a chassis code.

        S14 is a nissan chassis yeah.. the Silvia.

        Anyway, the S14 was used up until '94 in the BTCC E36 320is, then replaced with the M42, and later the S42.

        Here is the complete list of applications according to BMW..

        S14-06: 1,4-Schnitzer-Turbo, 1,5 bar Ladetrykk, 450 HK, Kufi, 02+320 1976-78

        S14/1: 2,3-Gr. A DTM '87-89, 300 HK, Carbon-Luftsamler, Enkelklaff 1987

        S14/2: 2,5, 325 HK, Franz.TM, Tørrsump, loddrett, Enkelklaff, Carbonsamler 1989

        S14/3: DTM-Motor, 2,3 Ltr., 325 HK, ECU, Skyveanlegg, Carbon-Kobl. 1989

          alex, i remeber that list of S engines, can you post the url please?

          anyway, the s14 BLOCK was designed after ther M10 Block and not the s38 like most people think. how ever the head is an exact replica of the s38 head with 2 cylinders cut off.

              that's every production S-block, as well as the P's used in racing and some assorted Alpina motors.
