  • e34 m-tech II wheel question

in reference to this thread http://www.s14.net/forums/showthread...+wheel+replace

i believe i have the e34 m-tech II wheel. it is the same size (or very close to) as my stock 91 airbag wheel. it is fully leather, including the center section. im having some trouble getting this wheel to fit, which is why i am wondering if it is indeed the e34 wheel, or if its actually another mtech II variation that doesnt fit our cars? i must warn you, i am a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff, so i could just be not doing it right.

any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated, as usual

You have to be VERY carefull buying these things on eBay, many sellers list it as a "smaller M-Tech 2 wheel for the e30" or something to make you think it's the smaller wheel because that one is more disireable and more rare. However, if they don't specifically say 370mm, it's probably not. You have to email and ask.

What is the part number under the horn push ?

When you say you are having trouble making it fit , does this mean it won't sit on the splines , or is it a problem with the black ring which trips the indicators off ?
This space is a sanctimonious shit free zone.
