  • Nikki Lauda Passes

Total bummer. Was hoping to see him back in the Mercedes F1 garage. A true legend.

The movie Rush is all the information I knew about him.
First time viewing the movie, I didnt like him.
Second time viewing the movie, way more respect for him!
If what they portrayed was true, his "ass" is what I strive to do in my cars.
The way he called out everything that was wrong with all the ferraris was so sick.

and because of this, my girlfriend and I were shocked and saddened to hear about his death.

Sad news. Natural talent behind the wheel without pushing others off the track. To come back within weeks of a near death crash and still suffering injuries , to running that years championship down to the wire is almost unbelievable.
Loved his no BS attitude. As one journalist said yesterday, everyone wanted to avoid today's F1 PR machine and just ask Nikki for his thoughts on Merc/Hamilton/Rsoberg etc for the unfiltered view.
This space is a sanctimonious shit free zone.
