    Hi,

Thanks for sharing this nicely made footage.

If you don't mind to share what are the specs on your E9 chassis, weight, engine, suspension etc ?

Are those slick tires brand new or have some time on previously ?

It appears you are in a 1.40min +/- lap time range. Very respectable lap time. I do remember few years back there were several well prepped E30M3s, Alipna, DTM "Shnitzer", Mobile, and they were lapping consistent 1.40mins +/- So not too bad at all for M30 power I assume ?

    Regards,
    Anri

      Hi Arne,

Thanks for your interest. My E9 is a motorsports chassis that ran in the ETCC in 1976-77 as a Group 2 car. It won the championship in 1976 and was runner-up to the Gosser Beer car in 1977. Full history of it can be seen here:

PS- the Goodyear slicks were on their 4th session in the afternoon race so they were getting pretty used up.

          Hi Steve,

Nice piece of history. Any info on the weight, engine, suspension work etc ?

A fresh tires and a bit more seat time will dip under 1.40mins for sure not bad for M30 engine.

          Regards,
          Anri
