    has any1 tried it???

          no...10x17 would be too much for the front....
          on the pic you can see 9x17 ET 8
          on my M3 i use 9,5x17 ET 24 with 10mm spacers,,,,

                yes on the wheel you can use 255er tires...but then you must do a little bit bodywork at the fenders i think-
                with these 245/35 you only need to roll the inside lip of the rearfenders....
