I have to agree with RobM3....the normal E46 M3 is just plain heavy. I mean, a 3400+lbs. curb weight for something being marketed as a "sports car?" If it weren't for the "wine and brie" crowd here in the US market....demanding for such items like 54-way power adjustable seats (that weight a ton), power this and power that, cushy ride, overkill stereo, and god knows whatelse non-performance oriented features, the E46 M3 would be an absolute monster....hence which is why there's the CSL variant to fill that void. What I like the most about this car is its engine....especially those 6 throttle bodies! That all CF intake owns too.

Its a shame none of these REAL E46 M3s are making it to US shores (although I'm sure a few grey market cars will find their way here).

Why is the CSL no going to the States?? I,ve seen three here two on trailers going to be delivered and one that had it's roundels blacked out?? , guess it was being tested.
