  • 1/43rd DTM Warsteiner #3 Cecotto Model

Just thought I'd pass along my review of the newly released Cecotto DTM #3 in 1/43 scale. AWESOME! Well worth the money...displayed well, hood even opens. I have the 1/18 scale (NLA) and this one matches the quality, only smaller. Better grab it while it's available for you model collectors.

Looks better in person also.....you can purchase from AutoArt or a private model vendor. I like www.minibimmers.com

I just picked up this white one that Markus is talking about and also picked up a red sport evo. There is a difference in the build, apart from them being different models, the red sport evo comes with a bonnet strut that holds up the bonnet, even comes with a piece of paper to explain that it is there. One the white one no bonnet strut and no paper. It looks like the one above, so there is no way that I can properly display the motor with the bonnet up in the display case like I can with the red sport evo.

Does anyone else have the white dtm model? Does it have the bonnet strut like the red SE?

Maybe it's just the AutoArt, take a look at this

Something missing can you see it.

Its not on their website, I first saw it on ebay and then bought it from KC Auto in Kansas. Shipping was super quick got it in only a few days. It was the cheapest I could find something like $44 bucks shipped. I got it from them since it was the lower than the price on ebay and no Tax

I have the white one and there is no bonnet strut (unless I'm blind); however, my bonnet does stay up. I have the two other 1:43 DTM's and they don't have the strut either.
