I was having some issues with idle and overall throttle response after getting my Maxx A/N setup running. Turns out all my lean and no-WOT / poor idle were due to absolutely shredded accelerator pedal bushings. The throttle cable was able to slack so much that I was going lean even under partial acceleration (wavering TPS angle). I could also never get my TPS calibration to 'stick' due to all the play.

Since these cars are 30+ years old now, most probably could use a refresh. Instead of the stock plastic crap I've decided to go with delrin for accelerator and brass for the clutch/brake.
