just posting up some update pics. car is in and out of the grave yard. diogo should be working on it now and progress should be moving along nicely. as for the d2 coilovers i was told that I wouldnt have to weld anything like the ground controls, but as you can clearly see that is not the case. for everyone that pmed me about them ill let everyone know how they ride, but for the price who can complain..

Nice to see you bringing it back to life!

I am curious about the front tow-hook. At some point it appears that car was raced or heavily tracked...?

            Oh.....

That possibility did not occur to me. I figured it was a relic from the track. My bad.

How much did those headers set you back? if you don't mind me asking. They look like strictly business, very nice!

Purely out of interest, what's the reason for the extra sheet metal?
I would be worried that the extra extra boxed sections that arise through these modifications will trap moisture and will cause rust in the years to come, no matter what climate the car is in.

its just to get the bay really smooth. it wont trap moisture because there will be breathing holes on the bottom. look at the other side and you will see the holes still.

Nice. Seeing that you have started sound insulation (tar), I suspect it is going to be a dedicated track car? Good luck on the project.
