Thought I would share with you what I have been working on for the last 2 years...lots of part obtained through members of this board.

It's an 1988 E30 M3 with a S38 B36 engine. Euro 3.8 crank & rods, 94.5mm pistons, b36 head with 5 angle valve job 39mm intake and 33mm exhaust valves, intakes port matched to euro 3.8 50mm throttle bodies (pistons and head were from Paul Burke @ Imagineering), essentially every part is new from hardware to electric valves. Under carriage was stripped and blasted, primed and undercoated. Pretty much went through the whole car. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I have a zillion photos but these should highlight it for the most part.

I'm going for a European/American muscle car theme. Hence the old school American V8 muscle car look to the engine.

Oh I have everything logged in an excel spreadsheet and yes...It makes me cringe. Thank god I do all the labor...I couldn't imagine paying someone to do this.

not sure what your referring to? Are you talking about the trailing arm bushing?

The rear is a complete MZ3 setup. Haven't decided 100% on what I'm going to do with the brake setup.

Kinda...the only thing you need to do is make a brake line from the caliper to the line coming from the rear hardlines..you can see where in the pic above. Other then that it is a straight bolt on. You use your stock subframe, the MZ3 trailing arms, axles and brakes. As I stated, it does increase the track, so high et wheels (i'm using 40's) is required.

Very nice. Hope to see this up and running. I have the same rear setup in my track car, still debating whether to use the stock calipers.
