New era DTM is just Euro NASCAR, with a laughable link to production cars. And most of the tracks are hella boring!

Thanks, the modernn DTM is just a prototype like F1 and WEC is. It has nothing from a production car.
The constructor should sell at least 5000 cars for costumers before they can compete in touringcars, DTM, WTCC and BTCC.

I haven't really watched many of the new DTM footage, from what I have seen, yeah, those silhouette cars are no where near as cool as when the cars had to be homologated.

However, I doubt any of the manufacturers are serious enough about DTM to go through the homologation process anyway, and the series would collapse?
