I found when I checked my P-V clearance that the closest approach was at the 10deg points on either side of TDC.

So, and what was the P-V clearance??
I first set the schricks 284/276 at their TDC figures, then check the cams full lift figures and if that's correct, check the around TDC figures for P-V.

And it was all okay.

For a race engine just put some clay in the valve pockets of the piston and start measuring:evil:
