Wow, that does a beautiful job. Its just water? No steam, no particulate? I assume crazy high pressure?

Amazing how little rust it has! Would have expected more after seeing that rusted cowl.
Good Luck with the rebuild and thanks for sharing!

        Hi Jimmy.

I can 't answer any of your questions. Ton Vink took it to another company to do the job. All I know, they did an amazing job.. It looks really great..

Most rust was already repaired. There popped up a few minor spots now. The rest of the shell really looks great.. I seem to be a lucky guy. Very happy with the result.

            Carlo,

Welcome back! Glad to see the progress on the car! I definitely expected to see more rest based on the cowl and A pillar photos. I'm sure you may remember all those photos Jake posted back in the day of his car and the Swiss cheese firewall he had.

Looking forward to seeing more progress! Keep us updated!

              Thanks,

I do remember Jake`s pictures. I`ve got one spot around a bracket on the firewall. Two or three spots on the passergers side floor. And in the battery area there is a stitch that needs welding..

Looking forward to more posts, glad to see someone having work done on their car vs the normal FS ad's.
Who knows where I'll be, changes from day to Continent.

The roll cage looks solid and sturdy. Can't wait to see more updates and pics.

Not at the moment. Summer is a busy time for vinkmotorsport.com . They support multiple race and rally cars, that need service and repair constantly during the racing season.

Car came back from the painter. Still on the trailer. I tried to take some pics, but had some bad lightning and even worse photo taking skills.
