  • Hi Jase, just read your thread. Awesome rebuild especially for a painter and thats coming from a seasoned panel beater. Im a little envious as it seems you picked up one of the last window aperatures and also what looks like a properly stamped scuttle. Ill be rebuilding my own shell in similar detail soon once ive had a little time to enjoy the S50 i put in there (sorry purists).

Oh and i liked the factory lifting pad rebuilds, seen loads without them so its refreshing to see them reinstated.

              • You have shown that everything is possible. All this rebuild made by your own hands gets a master piece. Congrats.
Only one thing, keep in mind cleaning up of coating the rails where the gearbox bracket hook up.

                      • Fantastic Photo Story and excellent work. My M3 is now looking very tired, never really used (240km's last year) and again the question to sell is in my head!

                            • I'm currently in the same process right now with mine. Jase, is it finished yet? It looks like you've use to work in the assembly line when M3 was in production building 5000 units in order to qualify to race back in the days. LOL Outstanding restoration pictures. I love my e30 M3 but shit........ the dedication and money involved is unreal. Is there anything you can recommend that I may bypass?

                              Thanks in advance......
Just when I thought I was done with cars, they pull me back in......:drive:
