I need a new set of tyres and I can't seem to find any 245/35/17 tyres for sale.
So first off does anybody know where I can buy these?
I have 8 inch front and 9 inch rear tyres.
8 inch will require minimum of 215 and rear minimum of 235.
I should be able to get the front 215/40/17 tyres without an issue, its the rears that's the issue.
From a rolling radius point of view 215/40/17 are 603.8mm which lines up very well with original 15 inch wheels at 606.5mm or original 16 inch wheels at 608.9mm.
The 215/40/17 is within 1% tolerance of both the original options.
The 245/35/17 are 603.8mm which again slots in perfectly compared to the originals.
The closest other size I can see is 235/40/17 which has a diameter of 619.8mm. This is circa 2% difference to the others.
From what I gather it also gives higher ground clearance compared to standard of approx 6.5mm compared to -2 with the 245/35/17

Any suggestions as the best thing to do if the current tyres cannot be sourced which they seem to be NLA.
Right now all roads lead to choosing 235/40/17 for rears and keeping the fronts the same
