  • Possibly rare wheels ??

Saw someone post these up here in Toronto. I've not seen a set like this............

Seller is stating they are "Very rare 4 BBS RS 18"X8.5 #285 3pc rims, BMW fitment 5X120 ET13"

I feel like I've seen these on a 6 series car but I am not sure.

They were made for the BMW 5, 7 & were found on some 8's. Center bore is 72.5. It almost looks like BBS used a 17" center on a 18" wheel.

is it me or do the centers seem small for an 18" wheel?

Spray paint and tire shine doesn't equate to a "restoration!"

Bingo!, I now recall a rustbucket M6 that was parked near my old apparement and it had those wheels on, I thought to myself it would nice if I could find the owner and snatch them for a good price. Looks very '80s Alemagnia.

                  cactusjacks1 have the correct answer...they are 8,5x18 ET 13
using 17 inch centres and the outer dish and inner barrel makes them up to 18 inch.
For the rears it is a 9,5x18 ET 13 available.....
they are not often around these wheels...if they are cheap you should buy them and restore them...
