225 35 17 anybody tried them??

Thinking about using these size rims on some 8.5 by17 et 13 rims.
Anybody tried them or got a link to sum pics of what they will look like.
Would prefer 225 40 but we just can't get that size here in the uk.

225.40.17 is the way to go. Not the 35 profile.

i have used 225/35/17 on some 9,5x17 ACT ones some time ago....





That was very very close on the inside of the fenders in turns
I think with 225/40 it will rub

40 would be my prefered choice. But as we dnt get that size here in the uk and the shopping/taxes would be far too expensive from the USA I was considering the 225 35 over going for a 215 or 235.
I think they look good on markus link. I know 35 might b a bit harsh but my options are limited.

I just brought the same tyre in 225 45 16 for £60 each.
I think I will go for the falkens 452 in 225 35 17. They are £70 each.
Would prefer kumho though. Excellent tyres for the price.

rare tire sizes are always expensive
but 225/35 is ok...but you'll need to lower the car otherwise it don't looks good

I had a set of Falken 225/35/17. they will make your kidneys bleed.....
