nope. all the available choices (E30, couple different E36 variants, E30 M3) are dimensionally similar enough that the strut should be able to at least bolt up.... -
just to settle things up here, I have a set of strut housings on the bench.
The steering linkages are labeled L and R.
Assembled correctly.

E30 and E36 racks are interchangeable with minimal work. The tie rods fit exactly the same between the two.
Your struts have big L and R markings on them, make sure they are being installed...Leave a comment:

if you pull the pedal all the way toward you, the spring can be folded up into the groove in which it's supposed to go.Leave a comment:
