Wow, good to see something new. Later clusters had a resistor on the cluster circuit board to keep the alternator working even if the lamp burned out so you should be able to duplicate on your board....

Distilled water does not have any minerals and initially is ph7 becoming acidic to around ph6 as it absorbs the CO2 from the air. If your filtered water is relatively mineral free then I'd use that....
