Yep, on my race cars fan is on a switch, I can park in the paddock and let the pump and fan run after a race or qual.

I have the Davies Craig, really nice EWP, robust, well made, small physical package, easy to install.

Just make a sandwich of good quality HVAC foam in-between two pieces of metal mesh. Tape that sandwich together and then tape it or clip it to the snorkel.
