What is this plug and where does it go? I don't want to try and fire the car up if something isn't grounded. Also, does the ECU need to be bolted in before I start the car up? Thanks!!

Just got a used (non-fried) ECU and I am going to be installing it in this weekend. Any tips or suggestions as far as swapping them out? Pointers for pulling the chip? Disconnect the battery? Also...

I thought the ICV had to do with the two transistors that are to the right of the burnt area. Any more ideas? I don't wnt to punt in a new ECU and have the same thing happen.

Car died on freeway: UPDATE (ECU)
So It appears I have found the problem. Checked out my ecu and it appears to be burnt in one section. My mechanic says this has to do with voltage regulation. Any Idea what could have caused this? Or...

It sound slike a vacuum leak. WHen trying to start the car over, I can hear a hissing sound. Nothing I saw was visually off. Checked all connections on AFM and fuel pressure regulator. Any certain hoses...
